Brought back by a US Soldier after WWII, this is a very nice Italian National Flag, which looks to have seen no service during the war. It measures approximately 51 x 31" , is of three piece construction with all colors a separate piece. The Savoy Coat of Arms is dyed into the white central portion. It does not have a separate header but has hanging ties. The Savoy Flag was adopted in 1861 and relinquished in 1946
