This is a good service used example of the M-1898/05 Bayonet (Seitengewehr)

It was upgraded to a brigade in July 1942 re-designated Brigade Hermann Göring

but there is little or no trace of the pigment left

Starting in 1856 the Baden style pickelhaube was modified to conform with the Prussian style and after 1867 any further modifications were identical to the Prussian version excluding the Baden state helmet plate

The Helmet has been camouflage painted green most likely by the original owner, likely to conceal the bright gold finish these helmets are painted with in an effort to conceal himself in the event of being shot down.
