Before the distillery passed to the current owner, Glencadam produced heavily for the blend industry. Today, however, the focus is on marketing their own single malts. Glencadam Origin 1825 first matured in ex bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV.
