This helps prevent wheel bite, allows for the use of larger wheels without riser pads, and improves steering response. Furthermore, the hanger would be moved slightly back. This shortens the wheelbase slightly, making your board even easier to turn. Furthermore, your wheels would be positioned a bit further inboard, which helps with nose and tail slides.
