Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye 0,7l alc. 45,2 Vol.-% Whisky der Monats What makes this distillery specialThere was already a whiskey distillery on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Kentucky in 1812. This was opened by a certain Elijah Pepper. After several changes of ownership, the distillery was closed and sold by Brown Forman in 1970. A few years later, however, it was bought back, modernized and put into operation. Woodford Reserve untypically uses Scottish potsills for distillation, which are modeled on the stills at the Auchentoshan
